This one-of-a-kind online course, taught in three 1-hour classes, is for birders who want to travel to Latin America or Spain, or welcome Latino birders to their birding groups in any English-speaking country.
What you learn:
Spanish words and phrases for parts of the bird, bird descriptions, bird behavior, birding gear, and much more.
Brief overview of some basic Spanish grammar.
A bit of history of bird names in Spanish.
Lots of fun facts relating to birding in Spanish.
How to participate:
+ Pre-recorded classes: Individuals, groups, and organizations can purchase access to a copyrighted recording of our course at any time.
+ Live online classes: Groups of 10+ people can book a live, interactive course with us online for more personalized attention with time for Q&A's throughout.
Live classes are available Monday - Friday, anytime between 9am and 2pm ET.
LLAVES donates a portion of the course proceeds to a conservation organization
